Dear Ava, It is Thursday the 28th if July, and you are eleven months and 364 days old. In just a few hours the clock will tick over, and you will be one. A big girl. Thankful though I don’t feel Thankful

To be perfectly honest, I’m not feeling very thankful today. Ava has been sick for the last few days with an ear infection, and horrible, ridiculously high temperatures. She is on antibiotics, but getting them into her is really hard. I’ve had to resort to panadol suppositories for the temp, but even then it seems to either control the pain, or the fever, not both at the same time. In May of 2008, Maria Chapman, the adopted daughter of Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman, was accidentally run over by her older brother in their drive way.
