Ho Ho Merry Christmas Tuesday Super stars!

As you are no doubt aware, it’s only 5 sleeps till the fat man from the north pole climbs down our chimneys, steals out milk and cookies and leaves us good little girls and boys a whole pile of new toys. Unless of course you live in Darwin, and then he somehow climbs through the windows, or squeezes through the air con vents.

In honour of this great event (Christmas) I am bringing a very special IBOT your way! Not only will I announce not one, not two, but three new Bloggers of the Mo, but I have made a very special Christmas vlog to thankyou for all your wonderful support thoughtful the bloggy year.
I can tell you are excited!

But first things first!

Next Tuesday, the 27th of December, there will be no IBOT. I am taking a much needed bloggy break (if I can help myself ;) ) and many others are too, so I have decided that the best course of action is a week off. Tuesday is technically still the Christmas day public holiday (or is it boxing day?) so your Tuesday homework is to spend some time in the real world, with all the wonderful people you write about.

And now the good stuff. Because it’s Christmas, it seems only fair to share the Blogger of the Mo love, and all the recipients will get a few extra weeks to enjoy it because of the holidays. So with no further ado….

The first BOTM (ha ha bottom :) ) is Deb from Aspiring Mum.

Deb is beautiful. She writes beautifully and is a caring and compassionate person. She is one of my fellow Life on a Hill bloggers, and she never ceases to encourage and inspire.

The second BOTM is Rhianna from A Parenting Life.

Rhi has been blogging for a quite a while, and has a dream to become a famous writer, with good cause. She writes beautifully, but more than that, she is just a really nice person. She also gets points for living in Darwin with no Air Con!
If you have ever received Fairy Wishes or Butterfly Kisses, you have met Rhi.

And finally, the third BOTM is Lee from Mummy Issues Part 2.

Lee has two gorgeous munchkins and writes thoughtful and lovely posts. One in particular sticks to mind, where she befriended a stranger at a cafe, which I think is all kinds of wonderful.
Also last week, as I got around the IBOT posts, I discovered Lee had beaten me to almost everyone, and I really love people sharing the comment love.:)

Now because I think you are all wonderful, and I would make you all BOTM’s if I could, I have created a special Thankyou. This vlog is a little long (almost 7 minutes) but includes, suspense, craziness, singing and dancing, and the headers/buttons of almost every Tuesday blogger and also some of my other faves. (I apologise sincerely if I forgot you. It was not my intent, I swear. I just forget stuff sometimes. Also some people’s headers couldn’t be pinched, and didn’t have buttons.)

So I leave you with this: please watch it, cause I put a lot of effort into it, and it almost didn’t happen with the weekends hospital dramas.

Until next year my friends, I wish you a wonderful Christmas, a refreshing time with your family and friends, and a fantastic new year.
Thanks for all your support and love, and I can’t wait until next year, to get to know you all better.

So much love,

  4. You are such a classic! Way to go sitting on Santa’s throne, you’re so funny. I knew you were a vogging star, but you can sing too – wow! If I’m ever in Darwin I’m coming to your house and you’re going to help me make an exercise video for Operation Crash Hot. Have you still got your blue leotard Olivia?
Merry Christmas sweetie, enjoy your break.

  8. Oh my gawd, I was cackling at your brazen behaviour! I can’t believe you sat on Santa’s throne… Good on you! What a fabulous Christmassy vlog, I’m inspired to create one of my own but it’ll be minus the singing because even miming I suck.

Merry, merry Christmas Jess. I’m so looking forward to linking more often next year.

See you in the new year, Jess ! x

  11. Jess, I went from chuckling and cracking up at the start to a little “awww” and moist eyed at the end. Looking at your “honour roll” of IBOT bloggers I realised a lot of who I now call my blogging community are people totally due to your IBOT meme. I started blogging to find a little community and I truly have. So thank YOU for doing what you do, for being who you are, you mad-capped lady.

Your December BoMs are lovely ladies too. Well picked.

By the way, was it Boatman rolling the camera during your Christmas medley? Because if it was, you really do need to give him some love in your end credits too! He obviously loves an adores you deeply.

Merry Christmas to your beautiful family and God Bless too.
Veronica @ Mixed Gems recently posted..Be Kind to YourselfMy Profile

    • Thanks Veronica. You’re right. I should give boatman more credit in the end. He is the most patient person I have ever met, and doesn’t mind me embarrassing myself.

I never dreamed that this kind of community would form, but I am so glad it has. It is my favourite thing about Tuesday’s; all the bloggers I love in the same place at the same time.

Merry Christmas; I hope it’s your best one yet. Xxx
