#diaryofasahmgoesbush. Sort Of

At the time of writing, I am at a concert of sorts, being held as a fundraising event for one of Boatman’s mates. I’ll be honest; it’s not my cup of tea. But I shan’t complain. It’s been a week full of opportunities to not complain. On Tuesday, we set out in to the vast unknown, to visit friends in the Arnhem Land community of Gunbalanya. It seemed such an innocent, foolproof plan. 1. Drive down the stuart highway until you reach the Arnhem Highway. CHECK 2. Turn...

You Don’t have the Freedom…

There are many things a mother needs. Children, is a good place to start. A television, an iPhone and a constant supply of wine would not go astray. But also friends. Every mum needs friends. And not just the kinds of friends that you can text and say ‘my kids are driving me mad’ or ‘The power is off, the tv is not working, my iPhone is broken and there is no wine in the house,’ but other friends that you can call, whenever, whatever, and say, ‘Help me. The Wheels...

The Toilet Ambush Interviews

Four weeks ago, mummy bloggers Australia wide convened in Mebourne for the Digital Parents Conference. They came from far and wide; so many different personalties and passions; different niches and areas of expertise. All with one thing in common. Blogging. And the need for the toilet. So maybe, two things. This blogger also attended said conference. She had much to gain, and amongst her list, a top priority. To find out who amongst the mummy blogging community could, with pride, declare...
