I give up.
I once held a lofty dream, of never being made a fool of by Auto Correct, and yet I doubt this will ever happen. Ever.
I’m fairly certain that Siri and all her apple friends have tapped into my products and purposely changed words on me just for a giggle. She even did it in this sentence, but I caught it in time! (Take that Siri!!!)
I have been her helpless victim, time and time and time again. And yes. All those blue words on the time are links to all my published fails. Three posts full. And that’s just the one’s I’ve documented.
Of late, it seems to be getting worse. Which is just ridiculous because I have spent so much time editing my book, you think I would be a pro at noticing these kind of mistakes by now.
Apparently not.

On a side note, how funny is Mumabulous?
No, I can not even celebrate my editing prowess when Siri gangs up on me.
The things she has had me exclaiming lately…..

I’m not sure if Spam Bog is an actual thing, but if it is, I don’t want to ever eat it.
Or follow it with I’ve cream.

I wish Katrina was right in thinking it was some new cool thing.
Now when it comes to making spag bog, or spam bog, or anything else, you should probably heat it. Not beat it.
Feel free to beat the I’ve cream though
Now if you’re thinking my faux pas are just food related, you would be sadly mistaken. This screen shot was taken the day I proudly saw my boy write my name for the first time.

What a great way to capture the moment right?
Little man though was not one of the random ones or wanted to wheat cardigans up the school.
Which I did prevent them from doing, you’ll be pleased to know.

I’m full of only wonderful things to say to my friends.
As Salz of course found out.

Although I sometimes miss the point.

completely innocent when it comes to ink
By some miracle, I was able to catch this one before I hit send.

Though for the record I do not want to be on their nailing list either.
It was like Siri knew that would take it to far, and gave me one lady chance to get it right.
Thanks Siri. You gave Loz a very awesome insight into how all future last chances should pan out.
And so, dear friends, you can see why I have given up. It seems no matter how hard I try, or how many times I read my status’ I will forever fall victim to the malevolence that is auto correct.
And I’m actually ok with that. Especially when I get comments on facebook like this:
“Oh Jess, never turn off autocorrect.”
I promise I never will.
Need to laugh at my misfortune?
