Live Full. Die Empty. #IBOT

There’s something that’s been playing around the corners of my subconscious for the last few weeks, trying to creep it’s way into the part of my brain that actually makes sense of my randomness. (Believe me, it can happen! ) It’s the idea that somehow, I’m supposed to be some kind of inspiration, because I published a book; not my words at all, but many have said that. And whilst I gratefully accept the commendations, and the support is beyond anything I could...

Like a Real Author

In hindsight, it was a stupid thing to do. Fiddling with other themes for your website the day before your biggest blogging day of the week, and then somehow inadvertently deleting your actual theme and not being able to find something adequate. The Ideal Year

Thursday night and the rain is gently falling which in itself is rather odd, cause it really shouldn’t rain in Darwin in May. Someone forgot to tell the weather that though. I’ve had a busy few days. Diary of a SAHM

Today is the day people! Today is THE day! The day when I spend a huge amount of money completely guilt free. The day when all my hard work finally leaves my hands and becomes something awesome. The day when my child hood dreams LITERALLY come true. Today is the day my book goes to print. image credit After months and months of reading, re-reading, reading aloud and giving to friends to read. Of editing and making a hundred and one changes and then changing things back again. After looking at...

Ember

image credit I’ve been tired. So tired. I’m trying to maintain this blog, finish a book, be a great mother, an awesome wife, and also work as many hours as I can. (Boatman has a new job but the start date keeps getting pushed back.) I’m also trying to be me. To help others with stuff when they ask, to teach Kids Church on a Sunday, catch up with friends, and even attend the odd gala or two. It’s been crazy trying to do everything, and I find myself exhausted and not...
