This is a sponsored post for Betts Kids.

When I was a little girl, my mum took great delight in telling every person we met that I had a foot fetish, a fact that I never really understood. “What was a foot fetish? And if it meant the love of shoes, didn’t everyone have it?”

It’s very rare I meet a woman who is not in love with shoes.

Even if they are not something she would ever wear for a practical reason, there is something about the X chromosome that has a real appreciation for the beauty of footwear.

It was this appreciation, that dictated I own these bright yellow heels, despite having anywhere to actually wear them.

Apart from a gala of course.

Essentially Jess

It was also this appreciation, that by no fault of my own, I passed on to my girls.

They love shoes.

Love, love, love, love, love them.

I don’t think there is anything in this life that makes them so happy, as when I say we are going to buy shoes. It’s like all their Christmas’, Easter’s and Birthday’s have come at once.

So you can only imagine the joy Bridie and Miss Ava revived when earlier in the week, a parcel arrived from Betts, just for them. It was excitiment central.

It didn’t matter that they were a bit too big (I swear this kid has the smallest feet ever; they have barely grown in a year!), as far as Bridie was concerned, these were the perfect shoes.

And they were her exact words.

She even insisted on wearing them out depsite the size issue.

I can hardly blame her. When you find the perfect shoes, you just have to wear them.

Miss Ava was equally excited about her pair.

Of course the fact that they were pink, was a contributing factor. IMG_0405.jpg

And they have been worn pretty much consistently since they were received, which is a complement of the highest order.

You might even say, the search for the perfect pair is complete.

Now obviously the kids impression is not the only important one; my opinion kind of counts as well. As far as I’m concerned, we’re winning all around. They are the quality I would expect from Betts, reasonable value, and are pretty to boot. That’s pretty much all I want in a shoe.

Now for the exciting part.

Thanks to Betts Kids, two lucky winners are going to get their own pair of shoes from Betts Kids. One for a boy, and one for a girl. All you need to do, is leave a comment telling me what do you classify as the perfect shoe, and fill in the rafflecopter form below.
